DATAport Media Limited was founded in 2010 its founder, Mark Williams, launched its trading persona Deeo in 2013 as a reference to how a Design Office is usually abbreviated as D.O. Mark revolutionised the way a design office could harness the best talents across the country from one powerful cloud-based Virtual Design Office, a first in Europe. Deeo has been perfecting the remote and in-house working balance long before the COVID pandemic forced the rest of the world to change, making it not just a technological shift but a social experiment that we have right and the rest are still working out.
Deeo started its life supporting the Mechanical and Electrical design of production machinery equipment as well as the development of various vehicle types – Aircraft, Automotive, Defence Vehicles, Luxury Boats, Motorcycles and Trains – as we do to this day.
In 2016, we began supporting the digitisation of the world we live in. In addition to prestigious international Digital Twin programs, Deeo was asked by the West Midlands Combined Authority to provide regional BIM and digitisation advice, support, and solutions for the Supply Chain across the middle of the UK. This initiative became a multi-award-winning program called BIMwm.
Since then, we have continued to support amazing projects, create innovative solutions (see Special Products), and grow an awesome team.
